What is Toxicity Testing ?

In the modern day world, humans can be exposed to various forms of toxins in the environment; including but not limited to: mold, heavy metals (arsenic, lead, mercury, etc), tick born illnesses (such as Lyme disease), as well as xenoestrogens in our water, food, and plastic supply. Environmental toxins can impact our health more than we realize, and can come from many sources. We believe in testing instead of guessing, which allows us to provide the highest quality care to all of our patients. There is a variety of toxicity testing available. At Ryze HRT, we utilize state of the art technology and testing to help our patients determine the root cause of their issues.

Heavy Metal Toxicity Testing

The Heavy Metals panel tests for exposure to harmful heavy metals and elements such as arsenic, lead, mercury and more. Heavy metals can be found in all regions of the United States and can accumulate in air, soil, drinking and groundwater sources. Those who are immunocompromised, have impaired liver function, or have reduced antioxidants and mineral activity can benefit from this panel. Children may also benefit from this panel as they are at a higher risk of developing heavy metal toxicity.

Environmental Toxins Test

Environmental toxins or toxicants are substances that are man-made or that occur naturally in the environment and can cause acute or chronic toxic overload when absorbed, inhaled, or ingested. If you were diagnosed with or suspect multiple chronic inflammatory conditions, resistance to weight loss, or signs of toxic burden, you may benefit from this panel.
